Candace articled and began her career at a full-service law firm in Toronto, where she practised insurance defence and civil litigation. She gained extensive litigation experience, having successfully appeared before various courts and administrative tribunals in Ontario, in addition to mediation and arbitration. In 2022, Candace pursued her passion for family law, applying her broad range of legal and practical skills and experiences. She is a dedicated and innovative litigator whose resolution-focused approach allows her to effectively advocate for her clients and their ever-evolving needs with compassion and diligence, both inside and outside of the courtroom.

Candace obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Toronto in 2014 and completed the Dual J.D. program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, earning both a Canadian and American law degree in 2018. Candace received the Alvin D. From Memorial Scholarship in Civil Procedure as well as the Faculty of Law, Canadian and American Dual J.D. Program Award in recognition of her academic achievements.
